C.O.L.A., (Creators of the Lost Arts),. Was created to provide an outlet of resources, tools and information for inspiring artists within the Hiphop culture, that DO NOT wish to become "mainstream" but strive to be unconfined to constraints. We accept artists from all 5 basic elements of Hiphop. What started out as a project has now expanded to full on production from Beats, Screen Printing, CD Duplication to Recording and Mastering.
Formed in 2000 as a Sub-Division of The Urban Legends: The Sea Serpents, C.O.L.A. started off with Rime Fytahs (Kuaesar & Haewhyer), D.A.T.A. Crew (Cresrok, BigSin, and Foe1), Grizzly AMX, Eternal4EverFlow, Hacksaw, & BastardArtist. By 2001 C.O.L.A. grew with new members Funkee Monkees (Phenik, Insue and Senik), & J-Ratt. In 2002 we aquired street artist Moon and DJ Erize. In 2003/2004 Lerks, A Dying Breed, SBD (Serving Beat Downs: Embs, and Dusk), Plutonik and Deal the Kid become members.
After losing Haewhyer in 2004 to fatal car accident, C.O.L.A. begins it's metamorphosis. From 2005 to 2009 the Crew begins to weed out all negative entities. After the weeding process is complete, C.O.L.A.'s current members are: Rime Fytahs, Cresrok, BigSin The Bully(R.I.P.), BastardArtist, Lerks, Poetik Prophets, Malathion, Ohms, Senik, Phenik, Insue, DJ Otech, DJ Erize, DJ Relictore, Inferno Recordz, and Grizzly AMX.
DJ Otech and Ohms join in 2008 and in 2009 DJ Relictore and Malathion become members.
2010 we initiate Phase 2. Controlled Demolition....
